Sailing School

Ban Tours sailing school provides you with knowledge of the basics as well as the most important skills for sailing. Our goal is to not only teach you how to sail or steer with the rudder, our motivation lies behind the idea to teach you how to live at sea.

If we bring together in harmony the three most important parts of a sailboat, the wind, the sea and people aboard, we have learned to sail!

For this same reason we have decided that for the entire duration of the course accommodation will be on board. It is very important to adapt to life on the boat, which requires being with other people and learning tolerance, because from now up until you receive your license you will have to tolerate and live with other people different from yourself.

Our instructors are experienced sailors and teachers and will provide you with their knowledge of sailing independently. We pay special attention the size of our groups so that we achieve a high quality motivated working team for work and coexistence on board. You will learn the following theory: sail aerodynamics, navigation, maneuvers by engine and by sail, meteorology, prevention of collisions at sea, and safety.

In the practical aspect of the course we pay special attention to basic sailing skills and familiarization with the sea.

Never forget that the crew is the most important factor in sailing!

We are proud to be part of your sailing experience, and wish you good wind and a fantastic time!
